Terms and conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of online video lessons on yourwayhair.com. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you confirm that you have read them and agree with them.

2. What you buy

We sell online video lessons on barbering and hairdressing (“lessons”). Lessons are digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium: you watch them online in your account under My account. They cannot be downloaded.

The content, length and price of each lesson are described on its page. YourWay Complete includes all lessons listed on its page.

To watch the lessons you need an internet connection and an up-to-date web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

3. Ordering and the contract

You order through the order form on the lesson page by entering your details, accepting these terms and confirming the order with the payment button. Before you confirm, you can check and correct everything you entered.

The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email. The contract is concluded in English. We archive the contract (order and invoice) electronically; it is not publicly accessible.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and are final. The seller is not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added. There are no shipping costs.

You pay by payment card in the order form. The order form, payment and invoicing run through FAPI. We send you the invoice by email.

5. Access to the lessons

After your payment is confirmed, the lessons appear in your account under My account, usually immediately. You sign in with the email used in the order; your login details come by email.

Access is for the lifetime of the service, without a time limit, for as long as we run yourwayhair.com. If we ever decide to stop running the lessons, we will tell you by email at least 3 months in advance.

6. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from a contract concluded online within 14 days without giving a reason.

For lessons this right ends when access starts, if: (a) you expressly agreed that we start supplying the lessons immediately, before the 14 days pass, (b) you confirmed that you are aware you lose the right of withdrawal by this, and (c) we sent you a confirmation of this on a durable medium (the order confirmation email).

Otherwise you can withdraw within 14 days of concluding the contract by sending a clear statement to [email protected] (you may use the model withdrawal form below). We will refund the full price within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, and remove your access.

Model withdrawal form: “To Samuel Pokrivčák – YourWay Hair, Hraničné 96, 065 22 Hraničné, [email protected]: I hereby withdraw from the contract for the following lesson(s): [name], ordered on [date], name, email used in the order, date.”

7. If something doesn’t work (complaints)

We are responsible for the lessons matching their description and working as they should for the whole time you have access.

If a lesson doesn’t play, is missing or doesn’t match its description, write to [email protected] with your order details and a description of the problem. We will confirm your complaint and resolve it without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days. First we will fix the problem; if that isn’t possible, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or, for a defect that is not minor, to withdraw from the contract and get a refund, as provided by the Slovak Civil Code.

8. How you may use the lessons

With your purchase you get a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to watch the lessons for your own learning. The lessons, videos, texts, photos and the YourWay Hair brand are protected by copyright and belong to us or our guest barbers.

You may not share your login, download, record, copy, resell, publish or show the lessons publicly or to paying groups without our written consent. If you break these rules, we may suspend or cancel your access, without a refund.

9. Practice safely

The lessons show techniques used by professional barbers. Results depend on your own practice and skill, and we cannot guarantee a specific result. When you use clippers, razors and scissors, you are responsible for working safely and for the people whose hair you cut. This does not limit any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

10. Personal data

How we process your personal data is described in our privacy policy.

11. Disputes

If you are not happy with how we handled a complaint or another request, write to us first; we want to sort it out. If we reject your request or do not reply within 30 days, as a consumer you can turn to an alternative dispute resolution body: the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk) or another body on the list kept by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic. You can also go to court.

These terms are governed by Slovak law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.

12. Final provisions

We may change these terms. Changes do not affect contracts concluded before the change; the version valid when you ordered applies to your order. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
